Live Edge Siberian Elm Slab – S1007

A beautifully figured Siberian elm live edge wood slab featuring several bark inclusions and incredible color.  This slab is characterized by smooth flowing grain which is contrasted by a light sapwood.  This slab can be used for a bar top or can be cut down to make two live edge coffee tables.

About the Wood: Siberian elm is a gorgeous wood that outshines most other elm species for both its grain patterns and color.  The wood is characterized by a darker caramel color which can often be substituted for walnut if a lighter shade is required.  Siberian elm can be used for a wide variety of furniture projects such as dining tables, coffee tables and bat tops.  It is often prized by woodworkers as its fairly rare and can make very unique pieces of live edge furniture.
